Beach Haven Cottages

This lovely neighborhood of residential vacation homes is exclusively small in size and boasts a premier location in the heart of Dune Allen Beach. It is indeed a heavenly beach haven; however, these “cottages” are actually beautiful vacation homes with a charming Old Florida style that includes white picket fences, verandas, and upper-level balconies. Beach Haven Cottages has a privileged setting directly across Scenic 30A from the shimmering shoreline and the gorgeous jewel-toned gulf. The upper-level balconies often feature views of the stunning seascape, and the beach access is directly across the street.

This 30A locale on a sugar sand isthmus is sandwiched between the open gulf and Oyster Lake. Rare Coastal Dune Lakes of this kind are found hardly anywhere else on Earth. A creek-like tributary connects to the gulf across the sandy dunes, and ever-changing tides create an exotic mixture of artisan-fed spring and salted water. This provides a natural habitat for an abundant array of wildlife and a large variety of fish. Paddle Board, Kayak, and fishing adventures are popular here.

This residential community also features its own neighborhood swimming pool, which sits right on the shores at the end of this lovely lake. A nice patio invites guests to enjoy sunny lounging, and bathroom facilities are conveniently provided on-site. Due to this outstanding location, you may go from taking a refreshing pool plunge to luxuriating in the jeweled gulf waters in no time at all.

This fantastic community is only minutes away from popular restaurants with friendly bars. Two of them are within walking distance, including “The Vue on 30A” and “Stinky’s Fish Camp.

The Vue on 30A sits high upon a dune with spectacular views of the gulf and offers delicious Caribbean-styled seafood with craft cocktails. Despite its whimsical name, Stinky’s actually serves fresh gulf caught fish, seafood, and oysters along with a large variety of wines or cold beer. The Santa Rosa Beach coastal village center of Gulf Place is also close by. It includes unique restaurants with casual bars, a wine outlet, a coffee shop, fashion boutiques, specialty shops, and galleries. A grassy amphitheater lined with Royal Palms is at its center, providing a perfect place to enjoy live outdoor concerts, a variety of art shows, and fun festivals that are hosted throughout the year.

Grocery stores and shopping adventures are only about ten minutes away in Miramar Beach. It also is home to the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort which features lots of family amusements, a great array of restaurants, friendly bars with live music, and wonderful shopping adventures at the enchanting French Quarter-inspired Village of Baytowne Wharf, along with its swank town center of Grand Boulevard.
